MAT Recruitment is working with an exceptional secondary academy in Bury to recruit a driven and highly passionate Director of Finance. This is a permanent contract.

The secondary academy is part of a wider multi-academy trust, with schools across the country.

We are looking for someone who is a motivated and experienced Director of Finance, who has the drive, determination and experience to effectively deliver upon the needs of the school. In return, you will work in a trust that supports both staff and students to realise their full potential and develop these skills and qualities in accordance with the visions and values of the school.

Salary scale between £61,042- £65,699.

The successful candidate will: 

Ability to lead effectively and work as part of a team and positively contribute to the needs of the department. 
Hold all necessary qualifications as a fully qualified accountant.
Have previous experience working with financial records. 
Work as an effective team member and plan co-operatively by sharing information, ideas and expertise.
