My name is Alison and I am a Qualified Teacher/Tutor of English who has been teaching/tutoring KS2, 3 & 4 students for over 10 years. As a qualified NTP tutor, I am passionate about bridging the gap in learning for all students & currently tutor KS2 – KS4 English Literature and Language and Maths up to KS3. I am extremely knowledgeable with all English topics and have been teaching AQA, as well as other exam boards, in a variety of educational settings. I pitch my lessons at the correct level for my students, adapting the style of the lesson to meet the students’ needs. I use recap activities, short tasks and peer marking to assess the knowledge the students have retrieved, using this information to plan for future lessons.
