Hi, I’m Haroon, a dedicated and experienced English teacher with over a decade of experience in teaching GCSE English Language and Literature. I hold a Post Certificate in Education from Manchester Metropolitan University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation in educational theory and practice.

As an AQA English Examiner, I have a deep understanding of the curriculum and exam requirements, allowing me to provide my students with insightful guidance and targeted preparation strategies. My role as a Lead Practitioner in English and Reading Lead has honed my ability to inspire a love for reading and to elevate literacy skills among students.

I also serve as a Subject Mentor in English and an ITT/ECT Mentor in English, where I support and develop aspiring teachers. This mentoring role has been incredibly rewarding, as it allows me to share my passion for teaching and help shape the future of education.
