Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do at MAT Recruitment.
All staff working on behalf of MAT Recruitment are required to complete up-to-date Safeguarding Training in line with the latest Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance and to pass our Safeguarding Quiz before undertaking any school-based work. Our safeguarding training for teachers and supply staff covers the statutory guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education, ensuring you understand your responsibilities and how to take appropriate action.
Our Safeguarding Training goes beyond statutory requirements by including practical situations and self-reflection exercises. This ensures that all MAT Recruitment candidates are as confident and consistent in their safeguarding practice as permanent colleagues. The training can be accessed online and is self-paced, making it flexible and ideal for teachers, support staff and senior leaders working across multiple schools or settings.
This compulsory safeguarding training ensures that every member of our team understands their statutory duties and is fully equipped to identify, report, and respond to safeguarding concerns appropriately and confidently.
