The Recruitment Process: Taking it Step by Step

The recruitment process can be extremely overwhelming for many, here at MAT Recruitment we aim to take the stress out of recruitment by providing you with the best matched job possible. This aim is achieved through our smooth step by step recruitment process, which allows you to stay fully informed throughout the recruitment journey.
 
Initially, after we receive your CV and additional contact details, our team will organise a call with you at a suitable time, so we can get to understand you, your current role, key achievements, and career ambitions.  
After our call, we will write a detailed candidate profile for you which will be sent out to potential clients.
 
At MAT, we apply a structured approach to recruitment ensuring that we contact the right schools and multi academy trust for you. Your individual profile, alongside your CV will be sent to carefully selected schools, highlighting who you are professionally and where you can add value.
 
After we gain interest from an employer we will discuss these opportunities with you further, so that you have a good understanding of the role available. If this opportunity is of interest to you and you are happy to proceed further with your application, we will organise an interview with the school or trust. Before interviewing, we will complete all recruitment checks in line with safer recruitment practices such as references, ID verification and DBS Checks.  
  
Prior to your interview we will provide you with all the necessary interview tips, advice and any other support you may need in order for the interview to be a success! Your interview could take various different forms, including a student panel, planned lesson observation and data tasks.  
  
If your interview is a success and you accept the subsequent offer of employment, we will undertake salary negotiations and organise offer letters on your behalf. Beyond this we will keep in regular contact with you to ensure that you are happy in your new role!
