Although likely as we are to shout about our brilliant services and great opportunities that we offer candidates and clients alike, little will know the story of our origin and why for us being a female ran business founds the very core of our commitments. That’s why with International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month in mind we wanted to shed light to hopefully inspire all those around us.
 
MAT Recruitment was set up in 2018, the brainchild of Marie and India, with the sole purpose of revolutionising the Education Recruitment market to offer a bespoke long-term and permanent recruitment service to clients and candidates alike, all via the vision of recruiting Excellence in Education.
 
MAT Recruitment was founded after Marie resigned from her previous role on International Women’s Day 2018. Although experienced within the industry, Marie and India were stepping into the unknown; setting up a business, marketing and targeting the business to the market and being able to compete in a fast-paced and ever changing environment. However, what they did have above all was the belief in themselves and the ability to make a difference within the industry. With this MAT Recruitment was born, committed to improving educational outcomes for young people, one placement at a time.
 
Although unintentional, MAT Recruitment is now powered by a team of six women, all of which holding unique qualities to help progress the business. Upholding the belief that women should always feel empowered and inspired to achieve anything and reflecting these ideals within our core values to ensure our service is professional, upheld with pride, acting ethically and with complete integrity.
